Liberian Female Football Star Paulinho Joins Kazakhstan Champions, Biik Shymk

Monrovia – Liberian international Paulinho Agbotsu has joined her second club in Europe after leaving Determine in 2022.

Paulinho who plays as an attacker has signed for 12 times Kazakhstan women’s Champions, Biik Shymkent.

The news of the talented Liberian star was confirmed by her former club in Liberia Determine Girls Communication manager, Gustafus Karpeh.

Karpeh early Tuesday morning January 3, 2023 broke the news on social media of the player making the move from FC Okzhetpes.

He wrote: “I want to take this time to appreciate Kazakhstan club Okzetptes the first club of  Pauline it’s an honor working with the club over the past time, and hoping to work together again in the future.

“I can now confirm that my client F Paulinho Agbotsu has signed with 12 times Kazakhstan women’s Champions FC Biik Shymkent, I’m pleased to inform the general public that the superstar safely arrived in Kazakhstan this morning to join her teammates ahead of the new league season,”.

“Heavenly father blessed this new journey that I have taken in football, let this journey bring smile to many homes, thank you for the gift of life and the  knowledge you have given me,”

Biik Shymkent are the current Champions of Kazakhstani Women’s top flight.

The deal means, Paulinho will be the first Liberian female to play in the UEFA women’s Champions league.

She made her first transfer out of Liberia in 2022 March by joining Kazakhstan club Okzetptes.

Determine Girls FC confirm the departure their player to Okzetptes Club on March 17 2022.

The club statement said “We are pleased to announce to the general public that we have reached an agreement with Kazakhstan club FC Okzhetpes over the transfer of Pauline Agbotsu the attacker who played her last game for the club against Senior pro in the Petro Trade cup semi-final first leg depart  Liberia this March 17 to begin her European journey in Kazakhstan”.

Paulinho during her time at FC Okzhetpes played 16 matches and scored12 goals while assisting 20 goals during the 2021/2022 season.

The Liberian attacker appreciated her former club for the time “I will like to thank all my families, friends, fans and followers”.
