Liberian Champion LISCR FC are bidding to make history as they take on Bo Rangers FC this afternoon at the Southern Arena in Bo, 4:00pm kicked-off.

The Liberian Champions have set a target of reaching their first group stage of the competition and is ready to start their fight against the Champions of Mali.
Sam Chebli ’s men face a task as they tackle their Sierra Leonean Counterparts, who are boosted by their return from the West African Champions Cup in Guinea where they ended as runners-up.
But the Shipping Boys have shown signs of increased maturity during their best-ever run in their league at home last season and will be hoping to go beyond the first round of the Champions league for the first time.
According to the team coach Sam Chebli they have learned from their mistakes in the past.
The club have had some disappointments and some happiness and learn from those and take something from everything.
“In the last two years, we also beat good teams, and want to do so to reach this year’s group stage, and now we are ready to achieved this historic moment for all the players, and for the club as well,” Chebli said.
The LISCR FC coach said they will go into the match with all their strength and lot of concentration and everything to win the match because its something that would leave its mark in the life of every player and LISCR FC fan.
The Liberian side will be without goalkeeper and striker Tommy Songo and Ismeal Dumbuya for such crucial match.
But coach Chebi has confirmed that the keeper will and striker will not be missed because of potential replacement.
“I am not focus on absence players or injuries concern at all, I am focused on winning.” He said.
Meanwhile the Shipping boys departed Liberia on Thursday morning and arrived in Bo Sierra Leone to honour their CAF Champions League clash.
The Shipping Boys departed Monrovia with a 39-man delegation for Bo City, Sierra Leone via road to honor the 2023-24 CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg against Bo Rangers at the Southern Arena.
The delegation include 23 players, 9 technical staff and five administrative staff, is headed by LFA Executive Committee member Cyrus Yeanay.
The Shipping Boys will play Bo Rangers on Saturday, August 19 at the Southern Arena. The return leg will be played on Sunday, August 27 at the SKD Sports Stadium in Paynesville, Liberia.
