It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the Sherman and Tom Beon Nimley families announce the sudden homegoing of our beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and family matriarch, Honorable Myononway Esther Nimley Sherman. This sad event occurred on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at her residence on Duport Road, Paynesville, Liberia.
Hon. Nimley Sherman was a former representative for the people of River Cess County, Republic of Liberia and CEO and Founder of Women and Children Development Organization (WACDO).
Mommy, My-you, FORM, Mama, MEN and Budouba as she was affectionately called by those who knew and loved her, leaves to mourn her two daughters Mrs. Myreschelle Sherman Clinton and Mrs. Monica Logan Watts, three grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends whom she chose to share her life with during her earthly sojourn.
She was predeceased by her husband, the late Rudolph Emmett Sherman.
Hon. Myononway Nimley Sherman leaves a remarkable legacy excelling in both her professional career and personal life. She will be remembered for her kind and compassionate nature, as well as her profound dedication to advocating for the advancement of all who were fortunate enough to know her in her beloved River Gee County and community.
“Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.” May her soul rest in eternal peace!
