MONROVIA – More than 300 hundred job seekers predominately young graduates Wednesday, September 27, 2023 participated in a Job Fair organized by TALWA HR Solution supported by GIZ through the Orange Foundation.

TAWA HR Solution is a Liberian brand HR management consortium company whose focus is to support employers and job seekers and also provide different services in HR software, training, and performance management software.
The Job fair sponsored by GIZ is intended to support Orange digital center in the conduct of employment-relevant training, organize a job fair for participants of the training can be match with employers and to facilitate employment.
Mr. Samuel T. Duo, is the CEO of TALWA HR Solution in an interview with FrontPageAgfrica, he said: The Job fair today is just one of the many activities we are doing. “So basically what happening here today is that, job seekers from diverse backgrounds, and training will have the opportunity to engage with employers that are present here today.”
The Job fair would recruit jobseekers for 115, vacancies at 22 different companies. According to the organizers of the 22 companies 16, were present at the fair to receive CVs and explain to the young job seekers about their organizations and businesses.
Job seekers who have benefited from their training according to Duo will be profiled with their sent to employers. Asked why makes this program to significant? He said: “Job seekers don’t know how to present themselves for jobs, how to find jobs. They don’t know what the employees are looking for.”
He also said survey conducted in the employment sectors has showed that, people who are seeking jobs are going to these companies IL-prepare, not able to express themselves during interviews, having technical skills with no good work ethics.
“We had more than 500 people who sign up for this fair but we had to cut down the number because we didn’t want an overcrowded space. We have 16 employees here today and to them we are very grateful.”
