“James Wolo: What A Shock! He was, to me, a Ghanaian of Liberian heritage, and grew up in the Sekondi-Takoradi area.
He spoke very clear Fanti, which I could only admire. He was a strong Pan-Africanist who admired Kwame Nkrumah.
We worked very well together as colleagues, and discussed Ghana and Africa a lot during my 2-year stint with the UN peacekeeping mission in Liberia, UNMIL.
This is a great loss, not just to Liberia, but also to his numerous friends, family and schoolmates in Ghana.
My condolences to his loved ones. Rest in peace, James Wolo”, stated Malor.
