Monrovia – A children’s party organized by Montserrado County District 10 Representative, Yekeh Koluba, turned chaotic as the party venue seemed small to contain the thousands of children who turned out.

Eye witnesses told FrontPage Africa most of the children in the Ford-Madden Academy where the program was held began fainting due to their inability to withstand the heat the tension.
“Some parents started to rush in to bring their children outside when they heard that the children were fainting. Some of the children got hurt. One leg got broken. They put them in the car and took them away” a witness told FrontPage Africa on the scene. FrontPage Africa has not been able to independently verify this information.
According to the eye witness, as the children began fainting, a man identified as Mohammed started taking photographs of wounded children but he was stopped by Rep. Korlubah’s securities.
“Yekeh bodyguard asked the man to stop taking photos. He said the man should give him his phone but he refused. So, the bodyguard tried to use force and they started fighting. The bodyguard bit the man’s ear,” the eye witness narrated.
The eye witness further explained that news went around that Mohammed’s ear was bitten by Yekeh’s security, thugs in the area close to Mohammed came to retaliate.
“They started throwing stones in the school compound and then the police came and started shooting tear-gas, that’s how they all ran away,” the eye witness added.
FrontPageAfrica has not been able to get comments from Rep. Korlubah yet. He, however, FPA to get in touch with him later.
The Liberia National Police is yet to comment or give an update on the saga.
