Monrovia – Sinoe County Attorney Cllr. Adolphus Karnuah has vowed to pursue all suspects linked to the recent killing of a four-month pregnant woman in Sinoe County.

He said that police investigative report in the aftermath of the killing has linked 20 suspects including the key suspect.
Six of the 20 persons have been arrested and based on the pieces of evidence gathered, the six suspects have been charged with murder, gang rape, aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy and facilitation pending prosecution.
Cllr. Karnuah who is currently in Monrovia made the disclosure during an interview with FrontPageAfrica at the Temple of Justice on Monday, January 20, 2019.
Cllr. Karnuah disclosed that the men, operating under the banner of the ‘country devil’, arrested three ladies in the Monupol District after accusing them of confessing to witch craft activities following the disappearance of a boy in the district.
According to the Sinoe County Attorney, the incident occurred after a boy whose mother left him alone on the farm in search of okra went missing.
Cllr. Karnuah claimed that few days after the boy went missing news broke out that the boy’s mother Wleh Nyenleh along with two other ladies reportedly confessed to their involvement in witchcraft activities which led to the child being missing.
The Sinoe County Attorney continued that following the arrest of the two ladies, the boy’s mother, Wleh Nyenleh, who is also a four -month old pregnant were arrested by the men and taken into the forest where she was stripped naked, raped and tortured her to death and buried. He further stated that after the news of the incident reached the attention of his office, police was dispatched into the forest and following a careful search the body of the woman was discovered and exhumed. A jury was set-up to examine her body. The jury reported that she was raped and tortured to death by the men who took her there.
