The Rollers drew goalless with Gardnerville FC at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) on July 7 in continuation of the second division league. They are fourth place on the table with 33 points and two games to end the season.
Barrolle, one of the oldest and most successful football clubs in Liberia, need two goal-scoring draws against Fair Play FC and Mighty Blue Angels to end four-years in the second division. And head coach J. Wilson Farley believes their destiny is now in their hands.
“We were relegated at the end of the 2012 national league. We have struggled to gain our first division status but things have not been well with us. I think this time we are surely going to regain our first division status at the end of the season.
“Our hopes of returning to the first division stage of Liberian football is now in our hands and so I am urging the players to make sure to win against Fair Play FC on Sunday and against Blue Angels in the week to come,” he said.
Monrovia Club Breweries are top of the table with 43 points while Gardnerville FC is second with 35 points.
New Hope and BYC II are leveled on 32 points but the Go Blue Boys have an inferior goal difference. On the same day, NPA Anchors lost 2-1 to already relegated Mighty Dragon in the first division.
