Monrovia -Slavia’s Prague Liberian midfielder Oscar Dorley, 26, is said to be open a change of jersey, and has asked the management of the Prague club to be released abroad. Galatasaray, where he was recommended by Tomáš Ujfaluši , and Spanish Sevilla, have shown interest in him, according to Sport.cz.
“Oscar is not opposed to leaving Slavia and should have asked for a transfer himself,” Sport.cz said
Apart from the big Turkish club, Sevilla have inquired about the Liberian midfielder, but no definitive agreement has yet been reached, and he continues to be a player of the vice-champion of the Czech Football League,” informs the server.
The portal inFotbal.cz was unable to verify the information regarding Oscar’s request, but one of the sources close to the club denied it, saying that the whole media wave in the Czech Republic was only based on the initial speculation of the Turkish media.
Oscar is the mainstay of Slavist’s reserve line, the coaching team rejects his departure.
A loss at the beginning of an important season would be a huge blow for the “stitched” and an adequate replacement would have to come.
It is also a question whether any of the interested parties will make such an offer for him that Slavia will accept.
The specialized website ‘Transfermark’ estimates Oscar’s value at 8.5 million euros. However, the offer should be much higher.
