Monrovia – The Management of National Housing Authority has with immediate effect, canceled or terminated all construction contracts for a number of companies and is also requesting restitution of funds previously given for the implementation of these real estate contracts without proper evidence of construction. Those companies, according to a release, include Tookon Construction Incorporated; Alisa Construction Company (Alisa Group), Access Construction – no evidence that a contract was awarded or signed between NHA and Access Construction but received disbursement.
Additionally, Management doesa also hereby suspend the following construction contracts and requests that all contractors report to the NHA office within 30 days, commencing June 29, to July 29, 2018.
Failure to appear with proper evidence of work performed on or before the date mentioned will constitute acknowledgment or waiver of right/claims against the NHA.
Those companies include Dolphin Construction; Quality Group of Construction Company; Moabel Construction Company Incorporated;
Innovative Architect; Cosmos; Bolt Logistics; and Glewills Construction Company.
Documents in management possession suggest that many of the above contractors bided on December 6, 2017 but had contracts signed on May 5, of the same year.
