Monrovia – Watanga’s goal-scoring machine, Emmanuel King Sieh, netted a first-half hat-trick in a 4-0 demolition of defending champions LISCR FC on Friday as the former Liberian champions maintained their perfect start to the new season.

LISCR, who have been so dominant in the encounter in recent times, found themselves behind early in the match, with teenager Emmanuel Sieh putting his name on the scoresheet just two minutes after kickoff following an assist from captain Farsedu Logan. LISCR, who have beaten Watanga in their last two meetings, fought to level things, but 12 minutes later, the “Soldier Boys” doubled their lead with a decent finish from star player Chauncy Freeman, who was assisted by young Emmanuel Fully to reduce the pressure on Watanga FC. But clinical and talented Sieh stole the show yet again with another predatory performance at the Samuel K. Doe Sport Complex Stadium, securing a deserving hat trick.

It was an all-youngster show when Emmanuel Fully provided yet another assist for his teenage partner, Emmanuel King Sieh, who slotted home his second of the evening in the 17th minute and completed his hat-trick in the 25th minute after a pass from defender Alexander Curtis. Watanga FC held on to their lead as the first half ended 4-0, which supporters didn’t expect. LISCR FC, who have always come from behind in the encounter to beat Watanga, pushed forward for a goal to give hope to their fans, but Cooper Sannah’s men were prepared for the pressure as the match ended in a victory for Watanga and a deserving clean sheet. Watanga has now collected seven points from their three opening games, securing two wins and a draw. Prior to Friday’s match, LISCR secured two wins from two matches but tasted their first defeat of the season.

“I’m here to do my best. No problem for me. I’m always hungry. It’s a new season, and I’m ready for it,” Sieh said of his hat-trick. “My first two games in the CAF Cup started a bit slowly, but I am going well now in the league. An important win. We go into our next game having won two in three. A good start to the season,” Sieh said after the game. The youngster, who is on loan from the third division side Real Muja FC, won the Most Valuable Player in the 2023 national county sports meet and is making his debut in the first division league. Sieh opened his first division account with a brace against Global Pharma on match day one and is hoping to keep scoring goals. The teenager has netted five goals this season since joining Watanga on a season-long loan deal.

Overall, your article is well-written, but there were a few minor grammatical and stylistic improvements made for clarity and readability.
