Athletes of the Liberia Taekwondo National Team have all reasons to smile as former Professional Footballer, Alieu Kebey has promised to solve their problems.
Recently, there have been calls to humanitarian organizations, philanthropists and government to ensure their participation to the ongoing All Africa Games in Ghana become a reality.
The competition which kicked off on Friday, 8 March will run up to 23 March. Kumasi, Accra and Cape Coast are the three host Cities.
An amount of 3,500 USD as balanced to complete a projected fees for officials traveling by road to Ghana for the competition and the national team official uniform, mouthpiece, hand gloves, foot protector, Shin Guard, Arm Guard was still hanging.
But during his official visit at the team training camp on Saturday at the Liberia School of Wushua in Paynesville, Alieu said he will do his possible best to ensure the team get its necessary support to make full participation in the tournament.
Following his commitments, the President of Liberia Taekwondo Federation Master Junior Pewee Russian could not hold back his thoughts as he burst in tears of joy.
Master Russian said people were looking down on them when they were making their urgent calls, but God has surely answered their prayers.
