Under the agreement, the funds will be allocated to individual awards at the conclusion of the LFA National Leagues. A cash payment of US$120,000 will be made, while an additional US$5,000 will be provided for solar lights and their installation at the LFA headquarters.
Doxxbet became the official sponsor of the LFA awards after the two parties agreed to a sponsorship of US$24,000 in 2019. The contract was subsequently renewed in 2020 and increased to US$100,000 for three years in August.
Established in 2012, Doxxbet is a prominent sports betting company in Liberia, offering customers an exciting and user-friendly betting experience. The company will continue to receive significant branding exposure at various LFA facilities and online platforms.
“We express our gratitude to Doxxbet-Liberia for their unwavering support towards the success of the LFA awards and the activities of our association,” stated LFA President Mustapha Raji. “Doxxbet-Liberia has been a valuable partner among all the companies we have engaged in Liberia. They have consistently demonstrated their willingness to support the growth of football in our country whenever we approached them. By giving back to the country, they exemplify their commitment to the development of football in Liberia.”
Raji emphasized that Doxxbet remains a crucial partner for the Football Association, providing support ranging from grassroots football to the national team and national league. He expressed hope that other companies would follow Doxxbet’s example of sharing their profits with Liberian football.
“Doxxbet continues to bring joy to our players,” Raji added. “The award program focuses on identifying talented players throughout the season through a nomination process. Today, I am proud that Doxxbet has extended its partnership with the football association for another three years. We call on our government to prioritize companies like Doxxbet, which align with sporting institutions to uplift and foster more competition among players. This award, introduced during our administration, has made a positive impact on the lives of our players, with the Most Valuable Players in the male and female categories receiving cars.”
“We are delighted to be here to sign this sponsorship agreement extension with the LFA,” stated Michal Gabor, CEO of Doxxbet-Liberia. “We have decided to continue this partnership with the LFA because we believe that under the leadership of Mustapha Raji, the LFA is doing an outstanding job for football in Liberia. We are pleased to continue our collaboration with the LFA.”
Gabor further expressed his view that the partnership signifies an ongoing commitment to supporting the LFA and the development of Liberian football. “We started this journey four years ago, and we are glad to see the progress of Liberian football. We are proud to be a part of it,” Gabor added.
