    LFA LAUNCHES FIFA FOOTBALL FOR SCHOOLS

    The Liberia Football Association (LFA) will officially launch FIFA Football for Schools program on Friday, 8 September at the ATS in an effort to support grassroots football in schools across Liberia.

    The LFA President Mustapha Raji and Sports Minister D. Zeogar Wilson will grace the occasion where the LFA will roll out its grassroots football plans for schools to the government of Liberia.

    Education Minister Prof. D. Ansu Sonii and Dr. Benjamin Wehye, president National Association of Liberia will be in attendance to see 130 (One Hundred thirty) schools benefit from the first exercise wholly sponsored by football’s world governing body, FIFA.

    Schools from Monrovia and its environs including Caldwell, Dixville, Kendeja, Wein Town, Johnsonville, RIA Highway and Todee are captured in the first distribution that will see LFA donate a total of 800 (eight hundred) balls.
