Toedee District, Montserrado County – Residents of Toedee District in rural Montserrado County have made up their mind to carry only Dr. Mills as President among the many candidates in the race.

Todee District is about 25 kilometer away from Liberia’s Capital Monrovia.
Though it is closer to Monrovia, it takes an hour and thirty minutes to reach due to bad roads.
The people of the district had gathered in their numbers to welcome and endorse the presidential bid of Dr. J Mills Jones.
The residents, in separate remakes at the program, outlined the challenges facing the district and at the same times pledged their fullest support to Dr. Jones.
Speaking on behalf the youth community at the event, Joshua Jomah pledged hundred percent support for Dr. Jones, saying the young people in the area have suffered for long under the Unity Party regime.
He however called on his fellow youth to shine their eyes and leave no stone unturned in supporting and voting for Dr. Jones.
“To my fellow young people of Mount Coffee, dont allow yourself to be fooled by any politician again, as you all know Dr. Jones is a man of his word, we should go from house to house, village to village to ensure that Dr. Jones is taken to the Mansion,” he noted.
Chanting pro Mills Jones slogans, residents of the area paraded with Dr. Jones and his delegation entered Todee.
In another remarks, Laydia A. Barnes praised Dr. Jones for his support to the Liberian economy.
The people believed that Dr. Jones is the only candidate in the race who has lived up to his promises, something that led to huge turnout fir the program.
She named the provision of scholarships for students, loan for market women and the zincing of markets around the country as some of the concerns Dr. Jones promised and fulfill.
“We believe in you and we will give you the highest vote in this district, if you don’t get the highest number of votes in this district, don’t believe me,” she promised.
Dr. Jones is said to be the first Presidential candidate who has visited the people of Mount Coffee Town.
Smartly dressed in his orange MOVEE T-shirt and blue jeans, Dr. Mills Jones expressed joy in the level of turnout shown by the people.
He promised that he will not let the people down when elected as president of Liberia.
“I feel your pains. I sat here and listened to all what you have said about your community.”
“This is the time for you to make a sound decision that will improve your lives, we need change and the change cannot come with continuity,” he said.
