With a goal centered on resource sharing and skill development in emerging technologies and entrepreneurship, the startup is empowering tech professionals for future success. A key initiative includes constructing a mega tech center in Yekepa, demonstrating their commitment to technological advancement in the region.
Founded with the objective of assisting businesses, government entities, and institutions in digitizing their services, Tech Village Africa has a team of experts well-versed in Information Technology.
The company is registered both in the United States and Liberia.
The organization’s annual techno-entrepreneurship training has become a cornerstone in nurturing the aspirations of young Liberians in technology. The recent training conference, held in Ala Alagune, Monrovia, welcomed participants from Monrovia and Mauritania.
The 3-day event provided valuable insights and resources, helping participants in their future endeavors. Emmanuel, a participant from Mauritania, expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thanks and appreciation to the Almighty and the CEO and crew for their time… I am so blessed to be part of this year’s chapter.”
TVA first training conference was held in 2019 in Ganta, and ever since has consistently conducted Information Technology conferences in Liberia for five years.
This year’s training event received overwhelmingly positive feedback, much like the previous training conferences. James Morlu, a participant, shared his experience: “We are going to be ambassadors for TVA.
The conference taught me new things, and winning the One-Year Scholarship has been a highlight. I am excited to share this good news in Lofa County.”
The training sessions focus on uplifting and equipping aspiring young tech professionals and entrepreneurs with the skills necessary to stay competitive in the job market and to launch their own ventures.
Fromayan, another participant, commented, “Thanks to the entire board of TVA for making this year’s conference successful. It was an educational experience that aligns with my passion for Technology and Innovation.”
Tech Village Africa has been leading in skill-building for Liberians in IT, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Participants receive certificates upon completion, showing their participation in these essential IT skills training.
Looking ahead, the startup plans to seek partnerships with the government and other institutions to digitize services, enhance data security, and provide IT and Cybersecurity training to employees.
