“Message of Encouragement to all Liberians to Peacefully Exercise Your Democratic
Rights to Vote and Uphold the Peace in the Upcoming Elections.
I, His Grace Bishop, Dr. M. Wolo Belleh, Diocesan Bishop of the First Diocese (Harvest
Liberia, Guinea & Guinea Bissau) of Harvest Intercontinental Ministries Unlimited call on
all Liberians and eligible voters, on the eve of the General and Presidential Elections
scheduled for October 10th, 2023, to peacefully exercise your democratic right and
participate in these critical elections.
As Liberia stands on the precipice of a significant electoral event, I would like to caution
all Liberians to approach these elections with the utmost care and consideration.
Our nation carries the scars of a tumultuous history, marked by periods of conflict and strife.
Liberia is still in the process of healing from the ravages of war, and it is imperative that
we tread cautiously to protect the hard-won peace that we now enjoy.
I would like to extend my sincere plea to all politicians, stakeholders, and citizens at
large, to unite in the pursuit of lasting peace and prosperity for Liberia.
The Harvest Intercontinental Ministries Unlimited is proud to be one of the few Liberian churches that
played a pivotal role in the reconciliation process during Liberia’s turbulent times.
Today, the ministry spans across the five continents of the world, with a global family of over
thirty-five thousand members.
Liberians, we possess the power to vote for leaders who will represent our hopes and
aspirations and this opportunity should not be taken lightly.
As we approach this critical juncture in our nation’s history, let us remember the
importance of our peaceful and democratic participation.
Together, as a united people, we can move Liberia towards a brighter future, leaving behind the shadows of our painful past.
Long live Liberia’s happy land, a home of glorious liberty by God’s command.”
