MONROVIA – Four female officers of the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) graduated from Cepres International University (CIU) over the weekend in the country.
The officers completed four years of intensive studies in Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and Lab Technician at the university.
These female officers, who have obtained their BSc degrees, also hold diplomas and certificates in other disciplines but were determined to further their higher education.
Currently, higher education is a key issue in every segment of Liberian society, with LIS being no exception.
Since their graduation, the new administration of LIS has extended words of congratulations and promised to work with them in their areas of specialization. Atty. Dickson Tamba, the Deputy Commissioner General for Naturalization (U-303), represented the leadership of LIS at the recently concluded CIU graduation.
Additionally, the Africa International University of Science and Technology (allST) provided one month of tuition support.
