PAYNESVILLE- The Liberian Learning Center which is being constructed by Empowerment Squared, as part of an effort to enhance the capacity and reading skills of Liberian kids, has pre-launched the opening of the Liberian Learning center which is being constructed at the Paynesville city hall.

The project which is being done by Empowerment Squared, on Sunday, February 26, pre-launched the 2Million construction public Library for Liberian students which gear to be the first ever public Library in Liberia.
The Head of the Empowerment Squared Mr. Leo Lekpele Nupolu Johnson, speaking on Sunday at the official Liberian learning Center Community’s Day and progress of the project held at the Paynesville City Hall, said the center when completed will serve as the first ever public library in Liberia and will expand to a learning center, a children Library as well that will serve the public as an expansion of the Liberian Learning Center when completed.
According to Mr. Johnson, the project which is being built on the land of the Paynesville City Corporation is in collaboration with the City Government of Paynesville to serve the interest of the public.
He said the project which is currently being constructed in the yard of the Paynesville City Hall is huge and expected to raise and generate more funds from those that can afford to be a help to demonstrate the impact of education.
For her part, the Mayor of the Paynesville City, Madam Taylor, said due to her interest and vision for Liberian children through education has been the hallmark of her collaboration and partnership with the Empowerment Squared team to ensure the construction of the Liberian Learning Center is built to serve the children of Liberia.
The program which was held on Sunday in the hall of the Paynesville City Corporation, brought together several members of the Rotary Club of Liberia, students, community dwellers and administrators of various high schools to pre-launched the coming of the Liberian Learning Center and as well held a panel discussion on the importance of the Liberian learning Center when built.
