The competition, set to kick off at 10:00 a.m., will gather the country’s most powerful male and female athletes to battle for spots in the upcoming National Grand Finale.
Accredited by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and held in official partnership with World Strongman, the event provides a direct bridge to international recognition as Liberia continues to expand its presence on the global strength sports stage.
Athletes will be pushed to their limits across a series of grueling events designed to test physical power, endurance, technique, and mental fortitude.
Beyond the medals, Monday’s qualifiers offer local athletes an opportunity to earn national recognition, represent their communities, and position themselves for international exposure through World Strongman’s global network.
The Liberia Strongman Federation has called on fans to fill the gymnasium in large numbers to create an electric atmosphere, urging supporters to bring their national flags to champion the competitors.
Federation officials emphasize that the growth of the Strongman and Strongwoman discipline is vital for creating new athletic pathways and showcasing Liberian talent abroad.
