This month-long initiative will concentrate its efforts on four key routes within Paynesville, spanning from ELWA to Red-light, ELWA Junction to R2 community, Duport Road Junction to Parker Paint, and from Red-light to Double Bridge communities.

To foster community engagement, the project aims to enlist one hundred young residents of Paynesville City to work alongside the Corporation’s Sanitation Department in bolstering the program.

Addressing the audience at the official launch held at the ELWA Junction in Paynesville, T. Nelson Williams, II, the Chief Executive Officer of CONEX Foundation, highlighted their commitment to complement the PCC’s endeavors in maintaining a clean and green environment.

Mr. Williams took the opportunity to urge citizens to join hands with the Corporation in preserving the city’s cleanliness, stating, “We have to keep our city clean because when our city is clean, our children are healthy, our elderly are healthy, then we can do more as individuals, we can attract investors to our country when they come and see that our city is clean.”

Paynesville City Mayor, E. Pam Belcher-Taylor, also expressed her gratitude to CONEX Foundation-Liberia for partnering with the Paynesville City Corporation in their shared mission to maintain the cleanliness of Paynesville City.

In alignment with Mr. Williams’ sentiments, Mayor Belcher-Taylor implored residents to embrace a clean environment and discouraged the unlawful disposal of waste on the streets.
