Monrovia – Within the history of hip-co in Liberia, it is the first time a diss track has got both an artist and a manager involved in the same beef. A diss track was released on April 12, 2024, called “Rest in Pieces” by internet sensation rapper Joseph Odoh, Jr. who goes by his stage name Mr. Church Jackson where he dissed several rappers including Christoph The Change, Bucky Raw, King Dennis, Mr. Monrovia, Hipco Geudadinho, Nuchiee Meek, Fazari, Revolution and MC Caro.

Mr. Church claims these Liberian artists all are “rapping trash” and because of their rap, Hipco is not going far in and out of Liberia. As the result, he is leaving the gospel music to transition to Hipco.
This hip co-rap made CEO Lyee K. Bility, the manager of King Dennis to get involved in the beef between Mr. Church and his artist.
King Dennis dropped his own diss track “Ehh la u on April 24, 2024,” a three-minute forty-four-sec song in which he challenges Mr. Church to drop another hit song or else he will end his career for good.
Mr. Church proved he has come to stay for a long time as he dropped another song on April 30, 2024, called Heavy Weight Champ which is streaming on all social media platforms, most especially on TikTok and Facebook.
Church Boy Jackson is an extraordinary gospel rapper and songwriter. He has been on this journey since COVID-19, making incredible songs like I’m Blessed, Christmas Story, Paradigm Shift, and Adam& Eve.
Recently he made another incredible song for the County Meet he called Unity. According to Church Boy Jackson, those hitting back at him “ain’t mad at the song; you’re mad at the truth in the song.” “That’s what the truth does when people are so comfortable with lies.”
Since the drop of his song “Rest in Pieces,” this guy has been trending on numerous bloggers’ pages including Gary the Blogger.
In a post on his social media handles recently, the sensational rapper says he is here to stay.
“So apart from the Adam and Eve series (Part 3 is dropping this month), I’ll be introducing another series… This one is the SQUAD SERIES! For this one, I’ll just lyrically introduce a group of friends using the SHABOOYA ROLL CALL beat… I’ll start with my friends, then I’ll open the floor to four other random squads who wanna be featured, maybe more later…
“The goal is to bond as one big family and exhaust you with all kinds of entertainment…
Too much good music is still not enough good music…
My lyrics will finish the same day Christ returns…”
