Monrovia – The Union of Diamond, and Gold Brokers in Liberia have released a statement in Monrovia, centered around the mineral sector under the administration of Minister Wilmot Paye. Monrovia – The Liberia Electricity Regulatory Commission (LERC) has suspended the unauthorized “expedited connection service fee” of $150.00 charged by the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC). LERC confirmed that this fee was not authorized and violates the Commission’s regulations. In a statement, LERC ordered LEC to immediately halt the collection of this unauthorized fee from customers requesting expedited connections.
