Monrovia – Grand Kru County District# 2 Representative, Numene H.T. Bartekwa has denied his link to ritualistic killing in his district.
There has been report that the Grand Kru County Lawmaker was linked to the ritualistic killing of a 26 year old woman.
Responding to allegation from his county about the death the young man, Representative Bartekwa said at no time did he engage in any form of killing to maintain his position as alleged.
“How will someone post my photo on the social media with a dead body claiming that I have killed,” the Grand Kru lawmaker inquired.
He told legislative reporters that the present claims and counter claims presently ongoing in his county about ritual killing is done by wicked, selfish people who want to satisfy their own political dream.
He boasted that he has served as lawmaker for years and has served his people very well.
Also speaking on recent report issued by IREED which linked him to denying the citizens and officials of government from using hall constructed by him, Representative Bartekwa said that he did not stop anyone from using the hall as was placed in the organization’s report.
“I was not even in the County when the request for the hall was made.”
The Grand Kru lawmaker indicated that when the request was made for the usage of the hall, the engineer who in charge informed the officials of government that the hall was not completed and that there was stay works that needed to be done on it before it is finally dedicated to the public.
“This hall was constructed with my money and the time the people asked for it, work was ongoing” Rep. Bartekwa added.
He placed the cost of the project at a little over US$40,000.
