MONROVIA – Ahead of what is expected to be one of the biggest religious gatherings in Liberia this December, an American prelate and missionary to Africa, John Tim Humes says he believes God wants to do more for Liberia.
Rev. Humes is the General Superintendent of the Gospel Fellowship International (GFI), and Pastor of the Living Word Tabernacle at Gastonia, North Carolina. Speaking live at a GFI training workshop, Rev. Humes said he saw wonderful changes and smiles on the faces of Liberians, describing such as a sign of progress.
He expressed happiness over the ongoing transformation in the Country, disclosing that he sees a great light rising on the horizon of Liberia.
He also declared blessings and wisdom on those in leadership in the country, while he released the anointing of God upon his servants in the nation to do great things.
The clergyman referred to Liberians as noble and a people of great destiny, who are rising up like the Berians in one accord.
He disclosed the hosting of a great revival in the land, and called for unity in purpose for the fulfillment of God’s plan, as he promised to stand with Liberians through love, works and vision to achieve God’s plan for the Country.
The office of the Religious Advisor to President George Weah, Rev. Emmanuel Nimley in collaboration with the body of Christ will host a five-day Spiritual Cleansing Peace and Reconciliation Summit in Liberia beginning, December 8 -12, this year.
Rev. Tim Humes and a multitude of other religious leaders from the USA, Canada, Europe, Nigeria, Ghana, and Israel among others are expected to be a part of the summit.
The summit opens 4 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2021 and will run to Sunday December 12, 2021 at the SKD Sports Complex in Paynesville, and the Providence Island on Johnson Street in down town Monrovia, and other centers across the Country.
