This month, the attention was switched to Redemption Hospital, Liberia’s second largest referral hospital, where Bettomax on Saturday, 20 July donated the several items valued at 1,400.00.
Making the donation, the Operations Manager of Bettomax, Fallah Braima, confirmed the value of the donation and said the gaming company will continue to remember health facilities, which he described as an inherent debt to Bettomax Liberia.
The items presented include 1 Drum Chlorine, four Dettol Cartoons , two cartoon hand gloves , two trash cans (large) , six floor mobs , two cartoon nose masks , hand sanitizers, and bags of saba powder soap.
“It’s a little over 1,400.00 (United States dollars) that Bettomax was able to procure for these toiletries and sanitary packages for Redemption Hospital.
‘’We hold all the major hospitals to our hearts following our donation to JFK Memorial Hospital last month, and this won’t be the last time Bettomax will come back to Redemption which is a guarantee for the good works you’re doing to deliver quality health services to the people of Liberia,’’ Braima said.
Receiving the donation, Nursing Director Hawa Robinson was thankful to Bettomax and Liberia Champions Watanga for the donation which she said came on time.
‘’We want to say thanks for and on behalf of the Redemption family that Watanga Football Club and Bettomax were able to deliver just what we needed for sanitation at this time.
‘’As you’re aware, a hospital doesn’t run without these sanitary packages, and for Bettomax and Liberia champions Watanga to choose us is gracious,’’ she said.
Watanga President, Atty. Jlateh Sayor, who was in attendance at the program, was thankful to Liberia’s fast growing gaming company, Bettomax Liberia.
‘’We just want to say continuous thanks to Bettomax Liberia and only hope that the administration of Redemption Hospital uses the donation for the intended purpose.
‘’We may come back again following our first stop at JFK Memorial Hospital or probably we may look elsewhere as we and Bettomax Liberia seek better health care for all Liberians,’’ Atty. Sayor concluded.
The donation at the Redemption hospital was the second for Bettomax Liberia and Watanga Football Club, following the partnership the two parties signed a few weeks ago.
The donation of sanitary packages and toiletries were a coincidence and an emotional moment for Watanga Secretary General, who was born at the very hospital his team turned to for a charity Saturday. ‘’For me, it’s good to be here and an emotional moment to stand in the premises where I was born…’’ Emmanuel Solo reflected.
