Sarkoh’s team playing away, led in the entire first half 1-0 at the UDC field in Gaborone over the weekend.
However, the visitors’ hope came alive after the introduction of spectacular striker Sarkoh from the bench as he made just few minutes to turn the home fans against their own players with his incredible and usual tactics and skills on the pitch.
Due to mounting pressure and team work spirit, Red Sparks’ 1-0 lead was cancelled in the 74th minute of the game by a header from the game changer Benjamin Sarkoh.
Sarkoh’s cut inside the 18-yard box of the home side, saw him well placed for a clever killer pass from his teammate Kgaatshoo to level the score line, 1-1, his first in the Orange FA Cup for Notwane FC since joining the team on loan, a month and a half ago.
The away side showed class and power after their equalizer from Benjamin and kept the pressure on Red Sparks defense until they got the winner minutes from Sarkoh’s West African counterpart, Ishmael Amponsah, of Ghana as the away fans took up the cheering from inside the UDT field in the Botswana capital, Gaborone until the end of the final whistle.
