Monrovia –– Liberian winger Moses Copper has joined Egyptian Club Port Fouad FC from Liberian club Heaven Eleven FC.
The deadly winger on January 30, 2024 signed a two and the half year contract with Port Fouad FC on a free transfer.
Moses played a key role for Heaven Eleven FC last season when he joined the club during the second phase of the Liberian league has been in Egypt seeking greener pasture.
According to the player the club president and technical staff saw his video from Liberia got interest in him but he could not move to them because he was engaged with another club in Egypt.
“The president saw my video when I was in Liberia and has been contacting me since, but I told him I was occupied at the moment and we’ve been talking, and they came to the city where I’m living, so he asked to see me. They had just appointed a new manager and he asked if I could stay with them for the night and play in a friendly match the next day. I did and scored two goals in second half.
“We had the agreement of contract after the match,” Moses told FrontPage Africa sports desk via text.

He also provided 6 assists and through his contributions, Heaven Eleven FC moved from the middle of the table to 4th place. Prior to his arrival, Heaven Eleven finished the first phase of the league at 10th place but when he arrived the club became a serious contender for the championship.
Speaking to FrontPage Africa from Egypt Moses Copper, said he is hoping to deliver at his new club because he always dream of playing in North Africa.
“I’ve been dreaming to play in a league like this since I was a kid,” said Copper.
“I’ve been dreaming of this moment and I’m so happy to be here. But it doesn’t stop here, I want to keep going,”
He said he can’t wait to play his first game and feel the fans.
The club currently plays in the Egyptian Second Division B which is the third tier of the Egyptian football league system starting from the 2023–24 season, taking place of the Egyptian Third Division on the pyramid. It is administered by the Egyptian Football Association.
