Monrovia – Liberia Football Association second division outfit Tony FC has appointed Wattala Hne Moore as head coach.
Moore who guided Maryland County to the quarterfinal of the just-ended County Meet was confirmed by the club over the weekend.
In a statement issued on the club official page the club welcome Moore to the Margibi Second division club and is hopeful of him qualifying them to the first division.
“The management of this Noble Club want to confirm the signing of Coaxh Wattala Moore formerly of New Horizon Academy based in Cotton Tree Lower Margibi County. Coach Wattalla Moore being Maryland County coach for over three years with lots experience and his acquisition will bring new dynamism to the club as we push for qualification.” The club said in welcoming Moore to his new home.
Moore now replaced Otis Tarnue who has been coach of Tony FC for years.
“Finally, we want to use this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to coach Otis Tarnue for his services rendered us doing his years of service with us and we wish him all the in his future endeavours,” Tony FC said in it’s statement.
The former New Horizon Academy coach Moore’s major task is to make sure that the Margibi County outfit club Tony FC gain promotion to the top-tier league of Liberia the Orange National League-1st Division.
Coach Moore won the 2021-2022 LFA- Margibi County Sub Association Third Division League with New Horizon Football Academy where he helped the club to gain qualifications for the National Third Division Regional Playoff two times as a head coach.
