Monrovia – Kindness Cole scored a hat-trick for Montserrado County District Two as they came from behind to beat District 17 in the semifinal of the Montserrado County districts league.

District 2 made it through to their first-ever final of the LFA Montserrado District League after they completed a dramatic 3-3 comeback as they advanced to the final from a post-match penalty that ended 4-3.
The boys from district 2 started the match on a slow pace, leaving district 17 to dominate the match and go ahead.
Prince Martor, Darlington Mitchell, and Josiah Lactro scored for District 17 in the first half while Kindness Cole got District 2 consolation in the first half from the penalty spot.
Back from break, District 2 reconsolidated well, pushing District 17 in their own half for the entire second half.
Kindness Cole completed his hat-trick for District 2 in the second half as the game ended 3-3 and had to be determined from the spot.
In what was an entertaining shootout District 2 won from the spot 4-3 to secure their spot in the grand finale.
District 2 will now play against District 7 in the final of the 2024 LFA Montserrado Districts League.
In the first semifinal match District 7 proved too strong for District 15 in a 3-0 victory.
District 7 defeated District 15 3-0 on Tuesday to reach the 2024 LFA Montserrado Districts League final.
Terry Sackor scored a brace while Augustine Dayougar hit a goal to book them a ticket into their first-ever District League final.
Both District 2 and 7 who have not won the league will go head to head on Thursday, 8 August in the final at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium ATS in central Monrovia.
