With the win, CWA now have two victories out of three games, with one loss. In contrast, L. J. Barnes have lost three out of their four matches. Despite the loss, L. J. Barnes’ coach, Saturday Johnson, expressed confidence that his team would qualify for the knockout round of the league.
Coach Johnson praised his players for their performance so far but urged them to do their best in the remaining games of the first phase to secure a spot in the knockout stage.
He also noted that the team’s four-point victory over L. J. Barnes was due to missed opportunities, as his players failed to capitalize on several scoring chances in both halves.
“I am proud of the ball control, but we need to improve our shooting skills,” said Coach Johnson. “We won by a small margin, and I want us to score higher points in the next game to keep our hopes of qualifying alive.”
On the other hand, L. J. Barnes’ Coach Thomas Derea expressed disappointment over the loss, calling the defeat “very disheartening.”
