Monrovia – Despite securing a 7-point victory over William V. S. Tubman High School in the 2025 Inter-School Sports Association (ISSA) league basketball edition, Caldwell Assembly of God (AG) head coach Jonathan Brown expressed dissatisfaction with his team’s performance.

Brown felt his team, comprised mostly of athletes playing in the Liberia Basketball Association’s second and third divisions, should have won by a larger margin. “The reason I described our seven-point win as not impressive is because my players had plenty of opportunities to secure a bigger victory, but they failed to capitalize on those chances,” Brown explained.
The coach stressed that for Caldwell AG to meet their goal of finishing the league as champions, players must learn from their mistakes and improve in future matches.
Meanwhile, the head coach of Tubman High chose not to comment after the game for reasons unknown.
In other ISSA league action, the College of West Africa (CWA) suffered a heavy 5-20 defeat at the hands of SOS at the Sports Commission on Broad Street.
