The Beer Boys took the lead through Thomas Barr’s fantastic strike with 19th minute on the clock before Mitis Mulbah’s double and substitute Festu Blapoh put polish on the victory.
Despite chances at either end of the match, including a good one for Fassell’s Fred Mombo, the Soccer Missionaries could not live up to Breweries’ ruthlessness, as the hosts registered their first win in the league in a frantic fashion.
The result leaves the Soccer Missionaries without a win after their first three league matches.
The Soccer Missionaries were searching for their first league win of the season and Coach George Pele set out his side with the mentality to grab their chance but their resistance was broken inside 19th minutes after Prince Kennedy’s delicious cross was nodded by Thomas Barr after misjudged by goalkeeper Charles Bundoo.
Three minutes after the restart, Mombo had a golden chance to find the equalizer for the Soccer Missionaries after Kennedy’s defensive error but Breweries’ goalkeeper Jefferson Potepa came to his rescue to tip for corner.
In the second half, Breweries grew in confidence as Tonny Weah missed from an acute angle from six-yard out after receiving a pass from Joseph Bontee but the substitute blasted his effort wide in the 73rd minute.
Fassell had a short spell and Aloysious Kloh almost reduced the score line for the Soccer Missionaries with a diving header from Joshua Baysah’s brilliant cross but goalkeeper Potepa made a smart save in the 77th minute.
But with eight minutes left on the clock, the Beer Boys took advantage of the gap in Fassell’s midfield and defense as they opened the floodgate with two late goals. It was substitute F. Blapoh, who made it 3-0 after Mulbah’s shot rebounded off the crossbar and the substitute coolly poked in from 6-yard with a free header in the 82rd minute before Mulbah wrapped off the win after Kennedy’s wonderful cross in the 90th minute.
