MONROVIA – In continuation of its support to football development in Liberia, Orange Liberia and the Liberia Football Association unveiled a new and exciting program.
Under the auspices of Orange Under -15 football challenge, local talents from across seven of Liberia’s fifteen Counties will battle each other for an exclusive perhaps once in a lifetime travel opportunity to Cameroon in 2022, February.
According to Julren Paquier- Chief Marketing officer of orange Liberia, the program is part of the Company’s continued initiative to promote young talents in Liberia.
As part of the Orange under -15 football challenge, the champions of the competition Mr. Paquier told reporters will travel to Cameroon to witness live, the AFCON nation’s cup.
He said the opportunity will be officially and 100% sponsored by Orange Liberia and will serve as an added motivation for the promising and future talents of Liberia.
The Orange Liberia chief marketing officer re-emphasized the Company’s commitment to support sports and young talents of Liberia as part of their corporate social responsibility.
Also speaking at the program was the President of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Mustapha Raii who lauded the GSM company for always supporting the LFA aimed at developing the game .
“We are happy for the support which is among other things geared towards investing in youth development “, he added.
The LFA Head called on Liberians to at all times make maximum use of the services offered by Orange Liberia and help promote their respective campaigns and brands.
As part of Orange Liberia multiple campaigns, Raji also praised the company for its initiative to help clean the city through the plastic waste campaign.
He encouraged others to help make use of the campaign and other campaigns of the GSM company for the betterment of the society.
According to Mr. Raji, the National youth league which started couple of weeks ago will see the best performing team from the seven selected Counties namely: Montserrado,Margibi, Grand Bassa, Bong, Bomi, Grand Gedeh and Maryland emerged as the champions to travel to Cameroon to witness the 2022 AFCON nations cup.
Meanwhile, as the plastic waste campaign heats up especially with the collaboration of Dura Plast, Orange Liberia is also encouraging Liberians to make use of their fabulous offers and win every Friday fantastic gifts from them.
Explaining more about the process was Noosevelt Janice Weah who urged all Liberians to help keep the City clean by picking up plastic in their various communities and in the streets, do a selfie and post it on their page as great prizes await them.
