Monrovia – The Liberia Football Association has announced it will fill the vacant post of Vice President For Operation at its 22nd Ordinary Congress on November 25, 2017.

The position was made vacant following the resignation of Cassell Kuoh as 2nd vice President of the football house months ago.
Mr. Kuoh who is in prison in the United States of America for money laundry got elected as Vice President for operation in 2014 but later step down from his post early 2017, his successor will serve for the period of four months as the football house will go to election March of 2018 to elect it new leadership from Executive committee member to President.
According to a release from the LFA the Executive Committee decided to fill the vacant post at its upcoming congress that will be held on November 25, in Monrovia.
The release said the LFA has now declared open the vacancy to all interested stakeholder in Liberian football who meet the requisite qualification to contest for the post.
The Football House has meanwhile set November 20, 2017 as deadline for interested individual to apply for the 2nd Vice President position.
“Each candidate for the for the position of LFA 2nd Vice President will be subject to eligibility checks in accordance with the applicable LFA Electoral Code and Statues”, the release concluded.
