0

Monrovia – Sinkor-based Cece United have won the Central Monrovia Fourth Division community league.

Cece defeated Mondee United 3-1 in the grand-final at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) on 7 August.

Jerome George gave Cece a six-minute lead but Fomba Sheriff leveled for Mondee from the penalty spot in the 20th minute.

Cheered on by their respective fans, Patrick Bah put Cece in front in the 39th minute after Mondee was forced to replace goalie Titus Johnson with Verbs Bosco following what looks like a hamstring injury.

Cece confirmed their play-off spot when Abel Tanookpawah put the match to bed in the 88th minute.

With the entire match-day squad, including the technical staff, dressed in black trouser, white shirt and red tie, Cece United will go into the play-offs full of spectacle on and off the field and KMTV is set to broadcast all their games live.
