With this win, Algeria solidified its position at the top of Group E in the qualifiers, securing their spot in the continental tournament set to be held in Morocco in 2025.
Liberia, on the other hand, saw their chances of advancing come to an end, concluding their participation in the qualification phase.
Liberia, however, finished at the bottom of the group with four points and will have to wait again to try to reach the nations cup.
Lone Star’s last appearance at the Nations cup was in 2002.
