Margibi County – Citizens Mboo Statutory District, Unification Town in lower Margibi County heaped praises on the Alternative National Congress (ANC) political leader, Alexander Cummings, for coming to their aid during recent flooding of the Unification Town community and parts adjacent.
Converging under the banner – “The United Women for Progress” on August 24, 2016, the Lower Margibians applauded the ANC leader for being there for them when their homes were overtaken by flood.
According to the group spokesman, Mr. Daniel Johnson, the people of Margibi County are pleased with the numerous contributions that the ANC through Mr. Cummings has rendered them.
Johnson called on Cummings to help the county by supporting several projects undertaken by the affected communities.
“We promise to deliver Margibi to you and the ANC come 2017,” Johnson avowed.
Responding, Mr. Cummings commended the people of Margibi County for the honor. According to Cummings, Liberians deserve better living condition.
He said the people of Marbigi County represent the best of Liberia, because visitors arriving in the country through the Roberts International Airport will have to pass through the county before reaching their destinations.
“You deserve better living condition just as the people of Liberia deserve better,” he said.
Under an ANC government, Cummings vowed to provide better health care, education, and better roads for lower Margibi County, describing the area as a gateway to Liberia.
He urged Liberians to elect people who will change their lives for the better.
