Monrovia – Charlyne Brumskine, the daughter of Liberty Party’s leader Charles Brumskinee, has called on residents of Todee District to elect her fathe as the next President of Liberia to help change the system of corruption, which she says has eaten the fabric of the country.

She made the statement when the people of Todee District which comprises Back Camp, Fahnseh, Pleemu Clans and Morris Farm officially endorsed the Presidential bid of her father.
According to her, her father has a vision to for Liberia because of his stance on corruption.
“I want to assure you if you give us the chance, you have not given us the chance yet. But if you give us the chance, you see Liberia move in the right direction,” she promised.
She urged the residents of Todee District to evaluate various politicians as they come to them to solicit their votes.
According to her, politicians will promise to build them roads, build school for their children and many other things, something she says cannot change the already spoiled system.
“You should not just ask them to do those things; they can bring all of those things but they must change the system,” she added.
Brumskine continued: “Demand more from your political leaders. They must change the system. If you give us the chance, we will change the system.”
The LP political leader daughter said when her father becomes he would improve the health sector by establishing mobile clinics.
“We will put physician assistance in the ambulance; we will put medicine inside and it will come to your towns and your villages.
“If you cannot go to the hospital the hospital will come to you,” Brumskinee added.
Cllr. Brumkine who contested the presidency and lost in both the 2005 and 2011 elections worked in the early stage of the former President Charles Taylor’s government as Senator.
The LP political leader daughter said, “Have you heard anybody saying Brumskine is corrupt? Brumskine was in the Senate; when he was in the Senate did anybody say he stole money? He wants to stop the people from suffering,” she asserted.
Reading the endorsement statement, a medical practitioner and youth leader of Pleemu, Joseph Kortee said the people of Todee District were endorsing Brumskine because he had long been in the struggle for the masses.
According to him, as an opposition, the LP political leader has demonstrated immense responsibility in leadership over the years.
“Cllr. Brumskine is ready to move this country to another level; in this direction I say we the youth of Todee district are endorsing his Presidential bid,” he asserted.
The National Chairman of the Brumskine Youth Movement (BYM) Olisemus James said the endorsement of the LP leader meant they would win the presidency next year.
According to him, BYM is a grassroots organization which aim is to take the Liberty Party to the people.
The BYM National Chairman added: “Everywhere people are yearning for change; we are calling on others to come on broad for the victory of 2017”.
