Monrovia – Some weeks ago, good news came out of South Africa. First, former President Jacob Zuma was found guilty of corruption through the Rule of Law and he was prevented from running in the presidential race of South Africa. Then, the present President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa, a former Labor Leader of the Congress of African Trade Unions (COSATU), now a businessman and a multi-millionaire, was lambasted for ordering the shooting and killing of South African workers. About a week ago, South Africa won the case at the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israel and Hamas. Spain has now joined the Struggle for Justice with South Africa.

The United States of America (USA), known internationally as the cradle of democracy, has just ruled that former President of the USA Donald Trump can run for the presidency in the November election. Well, we have to wait for the Court ruling on June 11, 2024 to know whether Mr. Trump will run or not run. Imagine that Mr. Trump, the man who led the attempted coup d’etat against President Biden, is the presidential candidate of the Republican Party of the USA! Wonders shall never cease!
But wonders shall cease because the opposition to Mr. Trump by the plentiful youth voters is strong and growing. Witness the anti-Trump protests at Columbia University, University of California at Los Angeles and other universities in the USA. We must bear in mind that it was the youth vote that made the difference in the election of former President Barack Hussein Obama through both terms of elections. Now, former President Obama is supporting his former Vice President Joseph Biden.
No long the time lasts, wonders shall come to an end. Witness how the Struggle for Justice under the leadership of the African National Congress (ANC) began in 1912, over a century ago. This Struggle was against the Boers, criminals thrown out of the United Kingdom who used armed force to overcome the owners of the land. Now, the ANC has overcome the forces of apartheid and are in the State management of South Africa for thirty years. But the Struggle for Justice continues as found in the word Amandla and in the response in the word Ngawetu (So be it).
In Liberia, the forces for Justice continue to say Gweh Feh Koei because the Struggle for Justice continues and the response continues to be Ngatee (So be it) The Struggle for Justice continues because Liberia remains in a state of injustice that is being transformed into the state of Justice. This transformation is taking place through the raising of awareness by people who love Liberia. Through this transformation within the Rule of Law, people are motivated to transform the prevailing unfair electoral system that gets bad persons elected to the enduring fair electoral system that gets good persons elected. It is only through this transformation that persons with good records can get elected to bring in the system of Justice, the indispensable ingredient for Peace in Liberia and in any other country.
Amandla! Ngawetu!
Gweh Feh Kpei! Ngatee!
