The recently re-elected President of the United States of America (USA commonly called America) Donald Trump coined the expression Make America Great Again. This expression was coined during the partisan political campaign for the re-election of President Trump. This Commentary comes to help people to understand that this expression does not solve the societal problem of making America great again.

The meaning that the expression gives is that America was great and can be made great again. America was considered great by some people because America used the capitalist system to become the world’s superpower by defeating Japan, Germany and the Union of Soviet Socialist States (USSR) during World War Two. As the superpowers at the time were defeated, America became the superpower.
The Founder of modern economics Adam Smith called capitalism the best system in the world because under it everyone has an equal chance to succeed. This system became known as laissez-fare of laissez-passer. Under this system, each person has an equal chance of improving his or her living condition. Smith indicates that under capitalism, the economy can move from poverty generation to poverty alleviation.
What Smith does not take into consideration are the facts or the reality. The actual situation is that in the late eighteenth century, during the days of Smith, the holders of capital were allowed legally to organize in their interest but the workers were not allowed to organize. When the workers tried to organize, the military was brought out and stopped them from organizing. This meant that under the capitalist system, the poor workers were allowed to continue to suffer. This situation continues as recently under the State regime of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher of the United Kingdom Great Britain. During this regime, when workers tried to organize, the military was brought out and stopped them from organizing.
The only and best way to stop and prevent violence is to raise awareness through the Rule of Law in ways that motivate people to take actions to end the bad and prevailing system of poverty generation and bring in the good and enduring system of poverty alleviation. The only and best way to stop and prevent poverty generation is to continue to raise awareness to elect persons with good records who can bring the system of Justice, the ingredient for Peace and Justice in Liberia and in any other country.
