Over 25,000 Liberian dollars was distributed, along with shirts and caps, to empower and uplift street vendors.
International Women’s Day (IWD), celebrated on March 8, commemorates women’s fight for equality, gender rights, and freedom from abuse.
“Too Easy” marked the day by going beyond the usual ceremonies, instead choosing to engage with women selling goods on the streets of Monrovia, offering both financial assistance and words of encouragement.
The company’s team visited various locations in the city, giving women between 2,000 to 5,000 Liberian dollars in cash and gifts, highlighting the brand’s focus on the often-overlooked women who face daily struggles in pursuit of a better life for their families.
“We felt it was important to celebrate the women who are fighting to survive and provide for their families, not just the successful women usually highlighted on Women’s Day,” said Abubakar C. Jalloh, CEO of “Too Easy.”
“Our brand is all about supporting Liberian women, and we wanted to give back in a way that aligns with our mission of empowerment.”
Jalloh emphasized that “Too Easy” aims to showcase the stories of women who are working hard to change their circumstances, while also creating designs specifically for women.
“We believe women’s day should be about those who are struggling every day to build a better future for themselves and their families.”
Since its launch in September 2023, “Too Easy” has quickly grown into one of the city’s most popular brands, thanks to Jalloh’s commitment to promoting confidence and individuality.
The brand has captured the hearts of the youth, encouraging self-expression and empowerment. “Too Easy” traces its roots to the creative vision of Abubakar Jalloh, known as JacTheRealest.
What began as a social media conversation has now become a renowned clothing brand, with a growing fanbase supporting its mission of promoting positive change and social empowerment.
Some of the women who benefited from the gesture expressed their gratitude, sharing that despite the economic challenges, they would continue to work hard to support their families.
