Monrovia – The President’s Young Professionals Program (PYPP) in collaboration with the Civil Service Agency (CSA) has begun its 9th Regular Recruitment exercise to recruit 20 exceptionally talented recent university graduates in any discipline to form part of Class IX of the program.
The program seeks to recruit recent first-degree graduates in any discipline with a reasonable mixed history of service to community or school through extracurricular activities and must be a Law abiding Liberian.
According to H.H Zaizay, the program is encouraging all recent (up to 5 years) college and university graduates who meet the requirements to take advantage of the opportunity starts September 4, 2018 and will end on December 4, 2018.
He said there would be an open-house training on basic application requirements and technique on October 2, 3, & 4, 2018 at 10:00 am at the President’s Young Professionals Program office.
Zaizay added that applicants attending the ‘Open house’ training would also get the opportunity to ask questions and get in-depth understanding on the recruitment process.
PYPP, which was launched in 2009, is Liberia’s Premiere and most competitive initiative for youth Leadership in civil service.
The PYPP recruits, trains and prepares promising and talented Liberian college graduates for a future in public service.
The Program’s long-term goal is to create the next generation of qualified professionals who are able and committed to working for the Government of Liberia (GOL) thereby increasing public sector capacity and contributing to good governance and strong leadership.
Since 2009, the PYPP has recruited and placed 140 young professionals in more than 25 ministries and agencies of Government.
These young professionals are poised to support the Pro-Poor Agenda for Development and Prosperity of President George M. Weah.
