MONROVIA – The Supreme Court of Liberia, through Chambers Justice Her Honor Ceainech D. Clinton-Johnson, has rejected a petition filed by the National Kehkeh and Motorbike Riders Welfare and Advocacy Organization (NAKEMOR).

The petition sought a writ of prohibition to stop enforcement measures initiated by the Liberia National Police (LNP) and other state security bodies under the Ministry of Justice.
The legal challenge, presented by the Solidarity and Trust for a New Day (STAND) organization, led by CEO Mulbah K. Morlu, argued that the government was targeting motorcyclists with specific enforcement actions.
Despite the petition, Justice Clinton-Johnson found no sufficient grounds to grant the writ, ultimately declining the request to intervene in the matter.
