MONROVIA – Grand Bassa County Senator, Nyonblee Kangar-Lawrence, has expressed shock over the investigative report by the police which suggests that her late husband, Rep. Adolph Lawrence, who died in a tragic motor accident in March on the Robertsfield Highway was in the wrong.
According to Sen. Lawrence, she was informed by the Police that another vehicle had ran into a truck that had broken down on Tower Hill on the highway and rolled back into her husband’s vehicle which was then climbing up the hill.
She made the disclosure on OK FM, a local radio station in Monrovia. It was her first time speaking on the circumstances surrounding the death of her husband who represented Montserrado County District 15 at the House.
The Grand Bassa County Senator expressed dismay that the Police forwarded the case to court without the family’s knowledge.
Rep. Lawrence, a former Chair of the House Committee on Lands, Natural Resources and Environment, died in a tragic motor accident near the Tower Hill Community off the Robertsfield Highway at the dawn of March 25, 2019. He was returning from Grand Bassa County where he had gone to celebrate his 53rd birthday with his wife.
