Margibi County District Five Representative, Clarence G. Gahr, has donated L$375,000 and 250 bags (25kg each) of rice to support Muslims in the district during Ramadan. This annual contribution is part of Rep. Gahr’s tradition of supporting the Muslim community throughout the 30-day fasting period.

On Wednesday, Karimue B. Fahnbulleh, Chairman of the Clarence and Friends Association, presented the donations on behalf of Rep. Gahr.
He emphasized that this donation continues the lawmaker’s regular support for Muslims during Ramadan and encouraged the community to pray for Liberia’s peace and unity.
Rep. Gahr also met with the Imam Council of District Five on Tuesday before distributing the rice and cash to 14 mosques in the area. During the meeting, he pledged support for the district’s Muslims planning to participate in this year’s Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Chief Imam of District Five, Adama Sumo, expressed deep appreciation for the timely support and assured Rep. Gahr of the Muslim community’s continued backing for the district’s development initiatives.
