Monrovia – FrontPage Africa has reliably learned that the local hotel where a recent reported sexual harassment occurred is being investigated by Police.

The Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation Deputy Managing Director Moseray Momoh is alleged to have raped a lady at the local hotel.
The lady, whose identity is withheld to protect her, said the Women and Children Protection Section of the Liberia National Police (WACPS-LNP) has compromised the case after one of the investigators was allegedly seen doing lunch with suspect Momoh, but the police have insisted on continuing the investigation.
The lady had said she will only continue with the case if the investigator is changed so as to ensure her security during the investigation.
A source told FPA that the hotel log will be looked at to know if the suspect and the lady went there on the said date.
“We are told that he is always there with his security guard so they will be able to tell us if the incident occurred at the hotel,” the source said.
The source also said the lady identified one of the receptionists who came to call her from downstairs on the alleged order of Mr. Momoh.
“If the lady is identified she will also tell us if that really happened as stated by the lady,” our source said, explaining that the lady statement shows that a phone call was made to the man upon their arrival at the hotel.
“We are also requesting the court to reveal his records to show if a call was made to the proprietor or anyone attach to the hotel on the incident date as stated by the lady.”
At the same time, WACPS-LNP has expressed shock on the denial of Monseray, who has said that he doesn’t know his accuser.
“We spoke with him and he consented knowing her and we are shocked that he will say he doesn’t know the girl, but all we can say is we are investigating,” an officer with WACPS said.
WACPS-LNP, according to our source, says if the crime scene established that the crime occurred it will lead to the next step in their investigation.
