Monrovia – The Liberia National Police (LNP) is investigating Mr. Bob Enyindah Egeonu, a 30-year-old Nigerian, for his alleged involvement with the death of Ms. Yatta Kamara, 28.

She was found dead in one of the rooms of Palm Spring Hotel on June 5, 2019.
Egeonu is a hired IT consultant for GoBet, a segment of the business activities of the Palm Springs Resort and was reportedly hired to set up GoBet IT programme and to train local staff on how to run the programme.
According to the police, Yatta was lying unconscious with foam oozing from her mouth and bleeding from her nose in the hotel room.
Forensic team of the LNP carried out physical examination and later took her (Yatta) to the John F. Kennedy hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
They body is currently at JFK morgue while the suspect is in police custody.
The police said the suspect is in prison awaiting the completion of the investigation.
When queried about the prolonged detention, police said he could not be released on grounds that he may flee from the country.
“Even if you take his passport, they sometimes use the border to escape,” the police said.
The police said an autopsy would soon be conducted on the remains of the deceased but failed to state when it would be conducted.
The hotel has asked for both forensics and autopsy investigation on the body. The hotel management said they remain open to any form of investigation as they have no hand in the lady’s death.
