MONROVIA – Bishop Emmanuel Freeman Sr., of the Impact Ministries International Liberia Inc., has told the newly consecrated presiding Bishop of the Christian Revival Church Association (CRCA), Rev. Dennis Aggrey, that obedience is key to the service of Bishop in the Lord.
Bishop Freeman who served as the preacher at the consecration ceremony of Bishop Aggrey urged him to use the word of God as a mantle of authority in the execution of his heavenly mandate.
According to him, God has called the CRCA Bishop unto His glory so that more souls can be serve. Bishop Freeman told Bishop Aggrey not to rely on his own understanding but in the strength of God as his hope.
The chief consecrator told the audience at the program that over the years he has observed Christian Revival Church Association Bishop as a humble servant of the God whose contribution is not only to the well-being of his church, but other ministries in the country. He spoke on the theme: “Call to duty”.
The consecration ceremony was well attended by Bishop Joshua Maxwell See, Sr., of the Word Sanctified Ministry International Inc, Bishop J. Allen Klayee, Jubilee Praise & Worship Center, and Bishop Emmanuel Freeman, among others invited guest including delegation from CRCA 150 branches in West Africa.
In response to the consecration ceremony conducted, Rev. Aggrey promised to work more in the interest of God. He said the spirit of the Lord is upon him to preach good news to the poor. According to the CRCA presiding Bishop, he and his family are humor to such title given them as followers of Jesus Christ. He used the ceremony to pledge his unending support to implementing the great commission of the gospel. Christian Revival Church Association has numerous branches in six of the 15 counties of Liberia, as well as in Sierra Leone and Guinea respectively.
The church operates six academic institutions and a teacher training program. CRCA is a holistic ministry seeking to help people as Jesus did, caring about the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of people. The church believes in evangelism and church planting as a means of spiritual growth and development in Christ. They are also into agriculture, skills training among initiatives in West Africa. Prior to Rev. Aggrey ascendency, he served as Mission Director for CRCA for years.
Following years of his service, the leadership and members of the Christian Revival Church Association deemed it necessary to have him promoted as their Bishop following 2018 conference resolution
