The dismissed Deputy Minister of Commerce who was subsequently expelled by the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) accused Minister Wilson Tarpeh and Party Chairman Mulbah Morlu of conniving to squander L$500,000 intended as loan for small businesses

Monrovia – Dismissed Deputy Commerce Minister Jamima Wolokolie has made some staggering accusations against two of the Congress for Democratic Change stalwarts including the party chairman, Mr. Mulbah Morlu.

In a social media post on Thursday, less than two days after her dismissal by President George Weah and her expulsion from the ruling party, Madam Wolokolie blasted the party for lacking “moral or legal grounds” to expel her for speaking out on “some very important old aged matters that have affected we the founding members and others” of the ruling party.

“However, I have accepted all of your decisions without any regret. So, stop sending NSA to [be] tailing me,” she wrote.

“This situation started June 30, 2020 and continue up to yesterday July 1, if anything happens to me, I want the world to know that Mulbah Morlu and his people from CDC should be held responsible.”

Continuing her rant in the post, Wolokolie asserted that CDC Party Chairman Morlu should have been expelled months ago, “when he said those terrible things about the President, but It never happened. When Mulbah lied on me, the first time, in this same format, the president did not say anything.”

“I asked Minister Wilson  K. Tarpeh for an audit report, names of those he gave the loan to,   their phone numbers, business names and locations of their respective businesses and to Minister Wilson K. Tarpeh one month ago and I never got a reply. Now!!!!  Who is the liar????  Who is the most powerful and corrupt person???  Your lies will never be encouraged by any sound-minded individual around the world.”

Madam Wolokolie, who recently began very vocal about the party after expressing her intent to contest for the senate, called on hierarchy pf the party to “Stop accusing me falsely and focus on improving your poor managerial skills to run the party effectively”.

Meanwhile, the dismissed deputy commerce minister has accused Commerce Minister Wilson Tarpeh and CDC Party Chairman of plotting a “well-organized crime” that involved a loan scheme for female marketers of the CDC.

She also challenged the government or the party to take her to court over allegations that she initiated a dubious loan scheme within the party.

“I’m defying you to do so. I dare anyone of you to take me to court for a well-organized crime that has no truth. I am challenging you little liars to be more responsible and take me to the law,” she wrote in her Facebook post on Thursday.

“I will not take the responsibility for my boss, concerning this loan. He has a clear understanding of how he gave this loan out and Mulbah Morlu knows it”.

She alleged that Minister Tarpeh “has the money” but has remain silent – an allegation FrontPageAfrica could not independently verify. Several calls placed to Minister Tarpeh on Thursday to seek his response to the damning allegations were unanswered.

“You are accusing me of this matter is very important to my families, friends and I cannot account for money I did not see or touched.  Anyone within our society can attests to this. I have been accused in the most ridiculous and misleading way to the people of Liberia,” she said.

Further accusing the party chairman and describing him as an “international liar and rouge”, Wolokolie challenged Mr. Morlu to take her to court concerning the loan scheme.

“You all know exactly where the money is, so, stop pretending and protecting your best friend Wilson K. Tarpeh. He has been disbursing the L$3,000,000 and you know it. He has disbursed up to 513,000 to unknown people that I have no knowledge of,” she alleged.

Your lies will never be encouraged by any sound minded individual around the world.”
